Android still on target, participants nosebleed!

“It was all about the speaker, not about the Android.”

I started the day so worried. The venue, food and program was all set yet, the most important person, our speaker is no where to be found in facebook. 8AM came and he’s still out of my sight. Busy moments passed and finally, a beautiful man stood up right in front of me and I realized it was Sir Herbert A. Boloyos. I greeted him with all smiles and told myself, “This is it.”

TechTalk: Android on Target

The Cebu Institute of Technology – UniversityComputer Students’ Society (CIT-CSS) will hold “TeckTalk: Android on Target” on September 25, 2010, 8AM-12NN,  Saturday at the CIT University Audio Visual Room. Following the successful “Blog ta bai, University Nata,” the CIT-CSS officers direct this technology talk (TechTalk) to the computer students who wished to excel more in the field of mobile applications/platforms. It is also a good avenue to start up with the Android OS Mobile Apps for students taking up Mobile Applications as their CCS Free Electives. Mr. Herbert Ampusta Boloyos, an Android Master from the University of San Jose Recoletos shall conduct the 3-hr seminar. All CIT University students especially the CSS Members and CCS students are invited to join the seminar. So what are you waiting for? Cebu City Youth Development Council holds Leadership Training and Seminar for Secondary and Tertiary Schools

"To win, we don't have to be the best. Just be a bit better"
Last September 18, 2010 at one of the beautiful rooms of Cebu Business Hotel, the Cebu City Youth Development Council held the Supreme Student Government Leadership Training and Seminar for Secondary and Tertiary Schools. More or less 200 participants from across Cebu's high school, colleges and universities responded to the call. I, AC Griffith Caruana and Kevin Ray Chua represented the CIT University Supreme Student Government

Hon. Sisinio Andales, Chairman of CCYDC welcomed all the partcipants. He briefly said that the youth is the hope of our motherland. He also shared his leadership experiences during his youth days. 
Moments after the early snacks, the seminar proper started. Mr. Kenneth C. Kabingue, one of the commissioners of the Council conducted the seminar for college students. I really learn a lot from him. One of which is we must follow the formula: 100% INTENTION + 0% OPPORTUNITY = 100% RESULTS…
