Run 2 Plant for GREENIN Philippines 2012

As part of the celebration of Environmental Month of June, a fun run and planting activity is organized in collaboration with the Cebu Provincial Government, Aboitiz Equity Venture, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, DILG, Talisay City local government unit and other LGUs in Cebu, and various government and public institutions. 


The event has two segments - the fun run which includes a 3 - kilometer run to the planting site and planting, which requires each participant to plant two native tree seedlings. The event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle by running and environmental ownership by planting native tree species that will soon become vibrant forests. 

Assembly Time and Area
Saturday, June 30, 2012
Junction of Pacific Heights and Vista Grande
Run starts at 6 a.m. and planting starts at 7 a.m.

Note: All participants are requested to bring their own water bottles.

Registration
Free registration until June 23, 2012. 

Individuals or groups can inquire and register at the following registration centers: SM City Cebu lower ground floor, Ayala Center Cebu Active Zone, Cebu Provincial Capitol PENRO Office, Talisay City Hall at the office of Councilor Odilao, UP Cebu College Arts and Sciences Building, USJR Main Campus, USC Main Campus SSC Office, USC North Campus Information Center, USC TC College of Architecture and Fine Arts, UV Main Campus Arts and Sciences Building, St. Theresa's College SAO, MCWD and RAFI Main Office at Lopez Jaena St., Cebu City. 

GREENIN stands for Generation REdemption and Expansion of Natural Resources INitiatives.
